Description

Bacon Ranch Burgers combine crispy bacon, creamy ranch dressing, and juicy beef patties to create a mouthwatering burger bursting with bold, balanced flavors. Perfect for any occasion, this easy-to-make recipe features fresh toppings and melty cheese for a satisfying meal that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale

Burger Patties

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Bacon and Cheese

  • 6 strips bacon
  • 4 slices cheddar or pepper jack cheese

Buns and Toppings

  • 4 burger buns, soft and lightly toasted
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • Onion rings or slices, to taste
  • Ranch dressing, generous amount

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Patties: Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then gently form it into 4 evenly sized patties. Avoid overworking the meat to keep burgers tender and juicy.
  2. Cook the Bacon: In a skillet or oven, cook bacon strips until crispy but not burnt. Drain excess grease on paper towels and set aside.
  3. Grill or Pan-Fry the Burgers: Preheat grill or skillet and cook patties about 4 minutes per side for medium doneness. Add cheese slices on top during the last minute to melt.
  4. Toast the Buns: Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster oven until slightly crispy.
  5. Assemble the Burgers: Spread ranch dressing on the bottom bun, add the burger patty with melted cheese, top with crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion, then finish with the top bun.

Notes

  • Use fresh ground beef for best flavor and juiciness.
  • Do not overcook patties; medium-rare to medium is ideal.
  • Let patties rest a few minutes after cooking to lock in juices.
  • Balance the richness of bacon with fresh lettuce and tomato.
  • Customize ranch dressing with herbs or spices for unique flavors.
