Description

These Cheeseburger Sliders are delicious mini burgers packed with juicy beef, melted cheddar cheese, and fresh toppings, perfect for game nights, parties, or casual snacking. Quick to prepare and easily customizable, they offer all the classic cheeseburger flavors in a perfectly handheld bite-size portion.

Ingredients

Scale

Meat & Cheese

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 810 slices cheddar cheese

Buns & Bread

  • 810 slider buns, soft and small
  • 2 tbsp butter (optional, for toasting buns)

Toppings & Condiments

  • Pickle slices
  • Onion slices
  • Ketchup, to taste
  • Mustard, to taste

Seasonings

  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Patties: Divide the ground beef into 8 to 10 small portions (about 2 ounces each) and gently shape them into thin patties slightly larger than the slider buns. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute to melt.
  3. Toast the Buns: Slice slider buns if not pre-sliced. Toast cut sides in butter on a pan or grill until golden and slightly crispy for added texture and flavor.
  4. Assemble the Sliders: Layer the toasted bun bottom with a cheeseburger patty, a slice of onion, pickle slices, and a squirt of ketchup and mustard. Top with the bun lid and secure with a toothpick if desired.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Arrange sliders on a platter and serve immediately alongside your favorite drinks and sides.

Notes

  • Don’t overwork the meat to keep patties tender.
  • Make patties slightly thinner than buns for even cooking and perfect fit.
  • Add cheese in the last minute of cooking for a melty finish.
  • Toast buns with butter to enhance flavor and prevent sogginess.
  • Use toothpicks to keep sliders stable when serving.
